3309 Coit Road Suite 110 Plano, Texas 75093 972-964-5431 |
Boarding Here at Plano’s 4 Paws Inn, we have a 3000 sq. ft. indoor air conditioned/heated facility. There are 40 runs built inside. These runs are 4ft x 6ft with 5½ ft high concrete block walls that are private for each dog. Each run has a wrought iron gate door that allows your pet to watch his neighbors, and is also a very secure gate that even the smallest Chihuahua cannot slip through, and the biggest BIG dog cannot knock down. We also have privacy curtains we can hang off the gates for the dogs that don't like to be disturbed. If you have a high jumping dog, let us know and we can put a roof over their run.
We have a back yard that has an 8½ ft. fence, so your pet will have time to get down to business. It is definately not an acre of land, remember we’re not in the country, but our back yard absolutely serves your dog’s needs. There is also a big yard on the side of our building and a field that are not fenced in, but make excellent areas for us to take you’re dog for a walk.
We have installed a 24-hour camera surveillance system that allows us to keep an eye on each dog, even from home after business hours. There is also a monitered security system, and we (the owners) live within 5 minutes from the kennel. It comes in handy to live close, especially when a sudden night-time thunderstorm pops up, and we need to run over to comfort the occasional dogs who HATE storms. There has been a number of times that we have been at the kennel in the middle of the night during some big storms, making sure that all is well.
While in our care, your pet will be taken out potty at LEAST 4 times daily. Each dog has their own individual potty time, and will not be taken out with a big group of dogs. This way they can concentrate on their "business" and just "doo it"! They will also have PLAY TIME. I feel that play time is very important, and we DO NOT charge extra for socializing. It is up to you if you would like your dog to socialize with other dogs, or just play with us humans. When your dog does play with other dogs, we take time to match-up personalities so that the dogs are compatible with each other. Play-time is always supervised. If you would like your dog walked, please let us know. Although if your dog is one that could drag us across Parker Rd., we would prefer to skip the walk.
This is our Head Kennel Tech, and also our son Mitchell. He has been working at the kennel since we took it over in 2002. He is now 20 years old, and takes night classes at college. His hobby is buying very, very cheap houses, fixing them up and reselling them. Like mother, like son... he loves the dogs. Here he is pictured with our frequent visitor, GINGER. I never realized Ginger had such an enormously long tongue, until I took this picture. I will include a normal picture of Ginger below, with her tongue contained in her mouth, so you can focus on her beauty rather than her tongue.
Ginger..such a cutie, and always happy!
Here is Mitch sitting in the run with Tanner. Mitch has been known for dozing-off in the runs while giving hugs to the dogs at times.
Here is our daughter Macey. She is 12 years old. She loves to come by the kennel after school to play with the dogs and sometimes her viola. Bailey seems to be quite interested in her music!
This is just a shot of our side yard, that dogs love to sniff-out. We do have our fenced-in yard for potty-time, but this yard is not fenced-in. The dogs that don’t dislocate our shoulders can be taken for walk out here at no extra charge.
A picture of 3 tired dogs after socializing with friends. From top to bottom: Bailey, Molly, and Pudge. |
